Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

These Terms govern your use of Zziffy. By creating an account or using the service in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy.

Zziffy is the brand name of an HR / attendance / payroll service operated by Zonafi Ventures (OPC) Private Limited ("we", "us"), a One Person Company registered in India with its registered office in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra.

2. The service

Zziffy is a cloud-based HR, attendance and payroll application for small and medium Indian businesses. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service for your business during the term of your subscription.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to enter into contracts for your business.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
• You are responsible for the actions of everyone who logs in using your account (employees, managers).

4. Employee data — your obligations

When you enrol employees on Zziffy, you become the "Data Fiduciary" for that employee's personal data under DPDPA. You are responsible for telling each employee what data is being collected and why, obtaining their consent, handling their data-rights requests, and removing them from Zziffy promptly when they leave your employment.

5. Pricing and payment

• Free plan: one outlet and up to 5 staff, free for as long as your account stays within those limits. It includes attendance, roster and leave. No card is needed and there is no trial that expires.
• Pro plan: ₹249 per outlet per month, covering up to 15 staff in that outlet, plus ₹15 per extra person per month beyond 15. Pro adds automatic payroll, payslips, Ask Zziffy, multiple outlets and reports. You can pay annually and get two months free (₹2,490 per outlet per year, plus ₹150 per extra person per year).
• You need Pro when you have more than one outlet, more than 5 staff, or you want Pro features. If you go beyond the Free limits, Pro-only features and adding further staff or outlets are paused until you upgrade. Your existing data is never deleted for exceeding the Free limits.
• Payments are processed through Razorpay. We do not store your card or bank details.
• Pro subscriptions renew at the end of each monthly or annual period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Prices are exclusive of GST (currently 18%), which is added at checkout.
• We may change pricing on 30 days' notice. Changes apply at your next renewal. Accounts created before October 2026 on an earlier plan keep the terms they signed up under until their current period ends.

6. Refunds

Subscription fees are non-refundable except in the case of a material defect in the service that we cannot fix within a reasonable time. For partial-year cancellation, the unused portion is forfeit. See our standalone Refund Policy for details.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Zziffy for any illegal purpose; not to upload content that infringes someone else's rights or violates Indian law; not to attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile or hack the service; not to use the service to harass, surveil or otherwise harm any employee; not to resell or sublicense the service; and not to use automated means to extract data beyond the documented API.

8. Intellectual property

Zziffy, including the software, brand and design, is our intellectual property. The data you upload (employee records, attendance logs, payroll data) remains yours. We have a limited right to process it to provide the service to you.

9. Availability

We target 99% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be announced where possible.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability under these Terms is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

11. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Subscription. On termination, we retain your data for 90 days (in case you reactivate), after which it is permanently deleted, subject to retention requirements in the Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to the rights of either party to seek interim relief in any competent court, any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
