> Zziffy is a staff attendance, leave, roster and payroll app for small businesses in India (cafés, restaurants, salons, spas, clinics, gyms, boutiques, shops). - Free: Rs 0 forever. 1 outlet, up to 5 staff. Selfie and GPS attendance, roster, leave, staff app in 8 languages, celebrations.
- Pro: Rs 249 per outlet per month. Up to 15 staff per outlet, Rs 15 per month for each extra person. Adds payroll (PF, ESI, Professional Tax), branded payslips and payslip requests, Ask Zziffy AI assistant, multiple outlets with outlet managers, reports and CSV export.
- Annual billing: 10 months charged for 12 (two months free). 18% GST is added on top.
- Example: one outlet with 9 staff pays Rs 249 per month plus GST. One outlet with 25 staff pays Rs 249 + 10 x Rs 15 = Rs 399 per month plus GST. Three outlets with 8 staff each pay Rs 747 per month plus GST.

## What it does

- Attendance: selfie and GPS check on every clock-in (needs mobile data), shared-tablet kiosk mode, live view of who is in at each outlet.
- Roster: weekly grid with colour-coded shift templates; crew see their week and get reminders.
- Leave: custom leave types, live balances, owner approval from phone, loss of pay shown before applying.
- Payroll: attendance, leave and unpaid days flow into salaries; PF, ESI and Professional Tax built in; branded PDF payslips; staff can request a payslip.
- Ask Zziffy: AI assistant that answers questions about the owner's own team data (late arrivals, leave tomorrow, payroll estimate). Read-only; hands over to a human when unsure.
- Culture: birthday and work-anniversary celebrations shown to staff and owners when the app opens; daily mood check-in; Zziffy Premier League, short games for staff ranked on a live leaderboard (within an outlet, outlet against outlet, or across all outlets), with an animated start-up screen and jingle; points for attendance are planned.
- Multi-outlet with outlet managers who see only their own people.
- Staff app languages: English, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, Gujarati. Installs from the browser (progressive web app) with push notifications; no app store needed.

## How people use it

- Owner: sign up at https://app.zziffy.com (no card), add the outlet and staff with mobile numbers, set shifts, share the staff link. Then run the day from a phone: see who is in, approve leave, finalise payroll.
- Staff: open https://app.zziffy.com/crew/login, add it to the home screen (Android Chrome: menu > Install app; iPhone Safari: Share > Add to Home Screen), tap Clock in, take the selfie. Staff also see roster, leave balance, attendance and payslips.
- Zziffy is a progressive web app (PWA): no Play Store or App Store download. Push alerts need the installed app (iPhone: iOS 16.4 or newer).
- Shared-tablet kiosk mode lets staff without phones clock in at the counter.

## Who it is for

Owners and managers of small multi-staff businesses in India with 2 to 200 employees across one or many outlets. It replaces paper registers, WhatsApp attendance photos and monthly salary spreadsheets.
